This search engine is becoming one of the more important sites to belong to. There are two ways to add your site: you can submit and wait or you can pay $199 for their Express Listing Services. We recommend that businesses pay the $199 as you link is also added to Excite and a number of other engines. When you site is accepted through Express, check to make sure it is listed the way you want and if not contact them.

One of the major search engines on the Internet, Lycos is an absolute must when it comes to listing your site. They employ a spider to make it very easy on you so there is no reason not to visit them. Postings can be slow as with most larger sites due to the volume they receive. Keep checking on your site but wait some time before resubmitting as you don't want to be seen to be spamming them.
